Terms Of Service
By using the Smart Writing & Editing Services, you the (customer) agree that you understand and are bound by the following terms of service:
The customer is responsible for the content of the document and guarantees that all documents submitted are his or her own. Smart Writing & Editing is not liable for copyright infringement or the intellectual property rights of any document submitted to our service.
Smart Writing & Editing provides quality writing, editing and proofreading services; however, we do not guarantee that any edited/proofed document is 100 percent error free. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the accuracy of the edited document before use and contact us if any problems or questions arise. In addition, the customer is responsible for accepting or rejecting the changes an editor makes to his or her document and/or choosing to follow or disregard the editor's suggestions. Our services do not include fact or data checking unless originally stated in the initial order.
Smart Writing & Editing is not legally obligated to refund the price of any service performed, although we may decide to re-edit a document or issue a partial or full refund of our service fee if we determine that we are responsible for returning a document with errors to the customer. The customer agrees to refrain from any legal action against Smart Writing & Editing and its staff due to any damages and loss, financial or otherwise, resulting from the customer's use of our writing, editing and proofreading services. Smart Writing & Editing does not guarantee the results of any written or edited document or (in the case of personal statements) that you will be accepted into any school or academic program.
If you are dissatisfied with our services, please contact Smart Writing & Editing on firstname.lastname@example.org. We will make every effort to correct the situation if we determine our editors are at fault. However, once services have been performed and delivered, the customer has five(5) days in which to express dissatisfaction or request revisions (if revisions were included in the order). If we have not received notification of dissatisfaction or a request for revision within (5) days of sending the document to the
customer, we will consider the project/services complete, satisfactory, and fully acceptable to the customer. If the customer decides to cancel an order once the editing process has begun, Smart Writing & Editing may charge a fee for the completed portion of the document.
Smart Writing & Editing is an American English editing/writing/proofreading service. We do not edit in foreign languages and cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies or errors within a document stemming from the use of a foreign language.
Edited documents are transmitted via e-mail. The customer is responsible for checking his/her e-mail for correspondence concerning an order. Smart Writing & Editing is not responsible for any disruption or malfunction of internet or e-mail services. The customer should make every effort to send receipts when requested to inform us that an order has been received. The customer is also responsible for contacting us as soon as possible if his/her document has not been returned by the deadline specified. Please be sure our e-mail address is added to your address book to assist in delivery of any correspondence.
Smart Writing & Editing reserves the right to refuse service at its discretion and/or terminate service at any time without providing an explanation.
The privacy of our customers and their documents is very important to us. We will never share, sell, or rent individual personal information without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Additionally, we do not sell or give away your documents. All information you provide to us is kept in the strictest confidence, and we delete your document after 30 days (unless you request otherwise). Information submitted to us is only available to employees who are managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you e-mails based on your request for information and to contracted service providers for the purposes of providing services relating to our communications with you. Every editor who works for us has also signed a confidentiality agreement.
The terms of our service may be amended anytime without notice.
